The Global Campus of Human Rights, the African Master in Human Rights and the University of Pretoria, hosted a sub-regional launch of the Global Study. The focus laid on how to effectively implement the recommendations of the Study from a regional perspective. By bringing together multiple stakeholders such as members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), African Union representatives, the Indian Ocean Island States, academia and partners, the conference aimed to facilitate a multilateral discussion on the implementation of recommendations and follow-up of the study. This launch was a true success and a big thank you goes to Ann Skelton and Benyam Mezmur.
